The Hot Fixer is used by many professionals and is the fastest and easiest method for pattern work, this tool is great and can reach places that a heatpress cannot.
The steps below are a basic guide on how to use a Hotfixer for best results.
Step 1: Select the correct tip to correspond with the size of the rhinestone and attach to the hot fixer.

Step 2: Turn on the hot fix and allow it to take at least 10 minutes to heat up for optimal use.
Step 3: Press the hot fix tip on top of a rhinestone, (ensure you do not press to hard or this can cause the stone to stick to a surface before you can pick it up or put it in place) just gently touch the rhinestone with the tip and lift,

The rhinestone will be held by the special tip and this will help make the glue melt on the back of the stone, move the hot fix to where you would like to place the stone and press down, do not press to hard average pressure is enough,

Keep repeating step 3 until you accomplish you task, then leave the rhinestones to cool completely.

Step 4: after leaving to cool check the stones are attached correctly, they should all be fitted flat and firm, run a flat hand over the stones a few times and check again. Should any stones be loose simply heat the hot fix and re-heat the stone. |
